With just a couple easy-to-get materials and a little elbow grease your aluminum computer case will be looking as good as new. Simply spray a generous amount of WD-40 on your piece of cloth and scrub away at the oxidized parts of your aluminum chassis. |
Continue to reapply WD-40 to the cloth and scrub until the aluminum surface is free from the white film. |
After scrubbing, wipe away any residue, and your aluminum computer case should be shining like new. |

Cleaning your anodized aluminum case is easy. While more resistant to the elements than raw aluminum, it is still important to take care it. Just apply rubbing alcohol or naphtha degreaser to your clean piece of cloth. Then, rub the cloth around the chassis to remove any fingerprints or dust. Remember to follow the hairline of the aluminum for best results. |
